What usually fails on a SunBrite

There is no single typical SunBrite fault, because SunBrite builds its sets on different manufacturers’ platforms — the boards inside one model can be quite different from the next. Backlights, power boards and main boards all come up. Every SunBrite is a case-by-case job: we come out, open the set and see what is actually in it. Board work is done in place; a backlight replacement means the set goes with us and comes back finished.

What we will tell you straight

We do not diagnose over the phone and we do not work from photos. Physical damage and water damage we decline. Everything else we look at properly, and given what these sets cost, the repair usually makes sense.

Parts and timing

Parts come from the manufacturer or its authorized distributors; because of the mixed platforms, some SunBrite parts take longer than the usual 3–5 days. You get the exact price and the exact wait after the diagnostic, and nothing is ordered without your approval.
