Charlottesville is our longest regular run: sixty to eighty minutes out I-64, and we make it. It sits past the sixty miles we normally quote as our range, so the service call fee is higher than it is closer to home, and you hear that number on the phone before anyone leaves. What we do not do is treat it as a maybe. If your television is broken and you are in Charlottesville, we come.
Belmont, Fry’s Spring, North Downtown, Locust Grove, the streets around the Corner and Barracks Road: much of the housing inside the city line is old, and most of the newer subdivisions are out in Albemarle County. Either side of that line is the same trip for us.
OK Electronics has been repairing televisions in people’s homes since 2010. We come to you, find the fault where the set stands, and tell you what the repair costs before we order a part. Board work is done in the house. A backlight replacement is the one job that cannot be done there, so the set travels with us and comes back when it is finished.
